Spend a morning making and connecting at Kokokahi Atherton Hall on Saturday, March 21st, 10am–1pm. We’ll start by weaving a lauhala anthurium with renowned lauhala weaver, Kumu Naomi Nascimento, then enjoy light pūpū before creating a maile-style fabric lei with Raine Lucrecio. Finally, we’ll join the pieces together on a burlap bag — a beautiful, functional piece you can carry to farmer’s markets and makeke.
